The Last Jedi – Balance

Leading up to the release of Star Wars The Last Jedi, it was told in interviews and articles that the characters Rey & Kylo Ren were different sides of the same coin. I thought a perfect way to visualize that concept was to take the character’s profiles and use them to be the different sides of the iconic yin yang symbol. Rey represents the light side of the force while Kylo Ren represents the dark side. Given how much Eastern philosophy and culture inspired Star Wars added an extra layer to this concept. I was extremely happy with this concept after the release of the film due to the importance of balance sprinkled throughout the movie.

I am extremely honored that I was selected to have this piece be a part of The Last Jedi World Premiere red carpet event!!! It was part of a digital art installation piece on the red carpet.
